Service Description

Struggling with your dog's behaviour? Let me help with our Walk and Train service at Guns and Noses. I'll take your dog for a walk and work on behaviour training at the same time. Whether it's lead walking, recall, or reactivity issues, I'll provide practical help to improve your dog's behaviour. If recall is your main concern, we can arrange a dog field for personalised training sessions. These are for people within the Gilberdyke, Newport, North Cave, South Cave, Brough and North Ferriby areas. If you have a need for this service and you are in another area please contact Helen Before booking. Walk and Train sessions can be booked on an ad hoc basis without the requirement of a contract; simply inform us of your training needs. If you need to leave a key for Helen, rest assured she is covered by key safe insurance. Sessions are available once a week on Thursdays and are limited to one hour for individual dogs. If you have multiple dogs, Helen is able to accommodate them, but please discuss this with her beforehand.

Cancellation Policy

These terms and conditions are applicable to all services that are booked with Guns and Noses. * Packages will expire after 183 days (6 months) if you have not taken your classes by then they will be lost. (Apart from the 10 individual sessions package these can be taken over 9 months) *All appointments must be paid for at the time of booking, refunds will only be issued if the booking is cancelled more than 5 days in advance of the booking. However, any cancellations will incur a £5 admin charge, plus a percentage of the total cost, this is due to PayPal or Square fees. The percentage will vary dependent on the price of the service. * Rescheduling is also possible 5 days prior to the event starting, you can do this through the confirmation email that you receive. * Mixed ability sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 5 days prior to the booking, within the 5-day time frame the full amount for the class will still be charged. *No bitches in season are allowed at any of the facilities. The place will still be charged for if cancelled within 5 days of the booking. * Spaces that are cancelled due to illness of either the handler or the dog within 5 days of the booking will still be charged at the full rate. *If you are late for your appointment, there is not be an option to increase the duration due to a booking after you, it is your responsibility to be on time, even for online sessions. *Reactive dogs are not suitable for a group situation, please call and speak with the training team as to how we can best help you. Please do not book a group workshop or class until you have spoken with someone. *We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, in these instances you will be given a voucher to enable you to rebook. (due to excessive weather conditions, illness of the instructors or their family members, or venue issues) *It is your responsibility to check the confirmation email/texts the day before to check the date and time, please read the messages that are sent. If you miss a class or appointment due to a rescheduling of appointments there is no refund option.
